Cow Urine and Dung Cures Coronavirus, Swami Chakrapani Maharaj’s Bizarre Claim!
With the death toll surpassing 250 at the time of writing this article, the coronavirus outbreak has been declared a global public health emergency at the second meeting of the Emergency Committee convened by the WHO Director-General under the International Health Regulations (IHR) (2005). However, this is isn’t stopping some really bizarre ideas unearthing from unexpected places.
Swami Chakrapani Maharaj, president of the Hindu Mahasabha has come up with the inexplicable (not randomly thought out) idea of curing this global health threat. He believes that drinking cow urine and applying cow dung can cure the coronavirus affected patients.
Adding to his stern beliefs, Swami Chakrapani also assured that a special “yagna” (ritual done in front of sacred fire) will be performed to annihilate the infectious virus from the face of the earth.
Consuming cow urine and cow dung will stop the effect of infectious coronavirus. A person who chants Om Namah Shivay and applies cow dung on body, will be saved. A special yagna ritual will soon be performed to kill coronavirus.
Said Chakrapani.
In India, where the cow is considered a holy animal and ironically people with motives have been using this as a reason to mob lynch the minorities in the name of religion, this statement isn’t surprising.
There’s no logical reasoning or even a semblance of truth to this statement and you can make your own conclusions. What the world makes out of this outrageous claim is a story for another day.

This comes at a time when scientists and researchers in China and other parts of the world are working 24×7 to come up with the full-proof cure of the deadly virus. Hopefully, the cure will arrive in time before the virus spreads exponentially all over the world.
Especially in developing countries where most of the healthcare facilities won’t be equipped with means to stop fatalities due to this health emergency.
