The words of Armenian-Russian American writer Vera Nazarian – “A boomerang returns back to the person that throws it” – sum up the concept of Karma in its entirety. Every deed has a repercussion that the doer will receive sooner or later. In a viral video posted on Twitter by Susanta Nanda of the Indian Forest Services, the principle of Karma is illustrated when a man shoots a bird and gets instant payback.

The six-second video clip shows a field in a village where a man is aiming to shoot a bird with his gun. As he pulls the trigger, the bullet hits the wings of the bird, which drops straight down and lands on the man’s eyes. The hit hurts the man so badly that he screams in horror.

Susanta Nanda shared the video with “Karma” in the caption.

The video has gone viral on social media and numerous people have commented on it, highlighting the value of Karma. Many have suggested that the man learned a lesson he or anyone thinking of hurting the precious wildlife will never forget.

Hunting the wildlife for just the kick of it is an act of inhumanity. While most men are losing their compassion, some people are trying to help animals through various means, just like the pianist who plays musical tunes for rescued elephants in Thailand.
